A flame rising above an open lock, or hovering freely without boundary.
It doesn’t escape. It belongs to no one but her.

She didn’t perform.
She didn’t soften her edge just to be understood.
She didn’t cut pieces of herself off to be kept.
She chose freedom.
And then kept choosing it.
Not because she’s unlovable.
But because she knows what it means to be un-owned.
She’s not hardened.
She’s not lost.
She’s not "still searching.”
She’s living.
She might want partnership.
She might not.
But either way, she’ll never trade her fire for a seat at someone else’s table.
She doesn’t need to be rescued.
She needs to be recognized.
You are not “too much.”
You are not too independent.
You are not difficult.
You are free.
And any love that finds you now has to know what to do with all that sky.
